Excellent recipe. It turned out great! One thing… my mistake… nothing to do with the recipe, I didn’t read the part to make them tiny at first. So, my first two pancakes were regular pancake sizes and were a little moist in the middle, so the outside ended up being too dry while I was waiting for the inside to cook. HOWEVER, when I poured them in the smaller size as instructed, it turned out great.

The paleo diet encourages you to skip weighing and measuring yourself and if at all encourages you to count nutrients as opposed to calories. So the only thing you should take into consideration when meal planning is making sure you’ll approximately cover your macronutrient needs and then simply eat as much as you feel like when it’s breakfast, lunch or dinner time. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7h8FavH-Jx4

Banana peppers are really great because they give you a bit of spice but not so much as to be overpowering. When you stuff them with salami you are pretty much getting equal parts meat and vegetable, making this very Paleo. But they didn’t stop there, they stuffed the salami with avocado, so you’re getting a huge nutrition boost as well as a third texture to make this really nice on the palate. The avocado will provide you with a good dose of potassium, as well as fiber to help with digestion. A fine snack choice that will easily get you to your next meal. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T-u8kW-OlqQ

One other thing to note here is that I pre-make some of these ingredients, which takes time, but at least it’s not taking time in the middle of the day when I’m trying to work or rush out the door. Also, I don’t mind eating food cold. I know a lot of people can’t stomach the idea of eating cold meat, although that really confuses me because Subway makes billions of dollars every year selling cold meat. Anyway, you can always heat these things up at work or home. And without further ado… https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YnDzsN7ksME

These red pepper poppers are great for game day snacking, or anytime you get the notion. They do take a bit of time to make, so maybe not the best choice if you are looking for something fast to make to lessen your hunger pangs. These have meat and vegetables in pretty equal amounts, with bacon wrapped around the peppers and chicken breast acting as the stuffing. They kick it up a notch with some red pepper flakes so these will be spicy, bacony, and loaded with flavor. You might need something to dip them in, might we suggest this Paleo friendly Ranch dressing?
These are sirloin rolls have brussel sprouts and fennel as sidekicks, but the sirloin is going to get top billing as the star of the show. Making sirloin rolls can be tricky unless you know how to do it, and they’ve provided helpful instructions here so yours will come out looking just like theirs. They have bacon rolled up with the sirloin, so you’re going to get plenty of flavor, and it’s nice that they have matched all of this meat with Brussels sprouts, one of the healthiest vegetables around.
*Sometimes instead of regular guacamole, I’ll make “guacachoke dip”, which is this: take a large can of artichoke hearts, an avocado, a quarter cup of lime juice, a pinch of cumin, and a pinch of chile powder and mix it up in a blender or food processor. You can add olive oil or coconut milk to make it creamier if you want. This little creation is amazing and can be served with pretty much any meat or veggie. Yum :) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lpygmaabb9E
"While trying many of the grain free pancake ideas out there, I discovered that many pancake recipes are just too 'eggy' or include bananas in the recipe. A lot of the recipes resulted in pancakes that were too flat and broke apart when flipping. I wanted a recipe that was like the Aunt Jemima® pancakes I grew up with: delicious and fluffy. After much experimentation with recipes and reading forum comments, I finally put together something reminiscent of childhood quality pancakes. Top with maple syrup and fresh fruit."

These fig bars have a lot going on, and your taste buds are sure to thank you for such a nice midday treat. At the same time they are loaded with healthy things like apples, peaches, and the figs themselves. They’ve removed any trace of grains, and are using coconut flour to put them into bar form, with just the right amount of honey to make these sweet but not overly so. The use of cinnamon, nutmeg, and ginger really balances out the flavor profile for these, and you can eat them between breakfast and lunch, or between lunch and dinner so they’re very good to have handy. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z0Iut8c-yJM

Finally! I’m sharing a recipe for the fluffiest paleo pancakes! I have been working on perfecting paleo pancakes for what seems like forever now. I wanted my recipe to call for as few ingredients as possible AND still taste like real pancakes. A pretty tough task when you’re trying to make pancakes that are both grain-free and dairy-free. This recipe for simple paleo pancakes makes seven small, fluffy and filling pancakes – enough to feed 2-3 hungry people!
I just can across your Instagram and blog for the first time and am loving all your recipes! Our pancake recipes are really similar which made me smile ☺ – I use one less banana, one less egg and add two tablespoons of coconut flour. I’m going to have to try yours and see how they compare ;). Thanks so much for posting all of this! I’m really looking forward to trying out a bunch of your recipes!
Do you ever find yourself craving something you loved pre-Paleo, but you just haven’t found the right Paleo version to satisfy you? We also made sure to include a good assortment of sweet and savoury, as well as some odd balls that just so happen to be completely irresistible. Enjoy! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BrL9BVb9G7U
If you’re a big fan of chips, you’ll be happy to know that you don’t have to give them up when following the Paleo diet.  While you may not be able to incorporate your favorite brands from childhood or run by the convenience store for a quick snack bag, fruit and veggie chips are a much healthier and lighter alternative.  Although you can find pricey bags of these types of chips at most grocery stores today, the ingredient list can be questionable.  Compared to the equivalent, make-at-home fruit and veggie chips will provide your body with energizing nutrients.  Here are some recipes for chips that you can feel good about eating: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GnLc95VpW5Q
It only took me THREE years (note the sarcasm) of gluten-free food blogging, to share a recipe for paleo pancakes. I finally feel like a legit food blogger. In my mind – there are certain recipes every food blogger must master within their niche to be considered legit at what they do: chocolate cake (not to brag but… mine is the best), banana bread, brownies, cookies (I have a bunch in my dessert section!) and pancakes. Is there anything I’m missing?

There are hundreds of great Paleo and Primal snack ideas and 75 ideas in the list below. John, wasn't it just amazing chicken? So much better than your typical oven baked chicken and on par if not better than gas or even charcoal grilled. It gets that smokey charcoal tasted and overnight koshering definitely helps, something I do when time permits. First-time I've pierced a whole chicken minus the times I make jerk chicken on the grill. Yup, the cast iron was not an issue.
This could be the perfect trail mix. It’s full of crunch from a variety of nuts, sweetness from coconut flakes and banana chips and just the right amount of chocolate to curb those cravings. It comes together right in the slow cooker, so your kitchen will smell amazing! Be sure to use coconut oil or ghee instead of butter here to keep it strictly Paleo. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yrcSUhdBgtc
Just tried this recipe for the first time. It was fantastic!! Even my non-paleo American boyfriend loved them! I’m pretty new to Paleo and have decided not to give up drinking and just drink vodka lime sodas if there is a social occasion. There are those times you wake up hung over and just feel like you need pancakes. Super happy i have this recipe to fall back on! Thanks so much really enjoying your website!
These BLT bites have the T built right in because they’re served up on a cherry tomato. She’s using cream cheese here, which you can sub out Paleo approved cream cheese for and be all set. The B of the BLT is covered with a respectable amount of bacon per bite. The T comes in the form of spinach, so you’re getting a nutritional upgrade from plain old lettuce which doesn’t have nearly as many vitamins and nutrients that spinach has. Dust these with a bit of parmesan cheese, one cheese that most Paleo-ers accept as OK, and you’re good to go. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D85tDRhO1Ow
