I just made these for my 3 kids and they gobbled them up! I added chocolate chips and made the pancakes about 2 inches in diameter. They were a bit difficult to flip and turned brown quickly, but they still tasted great. We did use a little maple syrup but didn’t use nearly as much as we have with regular pancake mix. I loved that this is a high-nutrient, kid-friendly breakfast. Do you have any suggestions for subbing the coconut flour with a different (nut-free) flour? My daughter could taste the coconut so I’d like to try a different flour next time.
Salsa is generally something that you can have on Paleo, you’ll just want to check the ingredients list to make sure that they haven’t added anything that’s not allowed. If you buy organic salsa you should be fine. In this recipe they’ve gone with fire roasted tomatoes, which will pack a bit of heat with them. They’re also using hot green chiles which will get your attention, and which might make this a no-go for those that don’t like their salsa too spicy. Try the No-Ritos recipe above for the perfect chip to dip into this spicy and hearty salsa. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=igjjA8mgqGE

Jambalaya can be a very hard recipe to make, which is why it’s good that this uses the slow cooker because you can take out some of that complexity. It’s also a dish that lends itself nicely to Paleo eating because it includes plenty of different meats, as well as a good amount of vegetables. For example there is an entire head of cauliflower added to this, and it helps to balance out all of the sausage and chicken. They make it even easier by using premixed Cajun seasoning, but they also point out that you can use your own if you happen to have some already made. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iuUucqQDQ7o
These did taste amazing, however I am one of those that cannot get these to stay together to flip them. If I waited long enough to flip without it being a scrambled mess, they were black. Should I try a lower heated skillet for a longer time? Or possibly I am not using enough oil in my skillet? My husband and I both ate them….even scrambled they tasted wonderful. We are new to Paleo and are trying lots of recipes. Thanks for all your ideas!!

Even when you’re full keto, sometimes you just want a stack of fluffy pancakes, smothered in butter (organic, grass-fed butter, of course). Dare I say this is the best keto and Paleo pancake recipe you’ll ever have? They’re so fluffy, I could die. These almond flour pancakes also get bonus points, because they can be made vegan, and of course they’re gluten-free. With just 4 net carbs per serving, this pancake recipe is also keto-friendly.
Best paleo pancakes ever. I have been trying different recipes over the last couple years and this is the only one that we plan to make again. I also noticed a bit of a funky after taste but I know for a fact its my baking soda. Its old and i didnt use a blender. So some bites had more than others. This was a hit for the whole family! I’m really glad we stumbled upon your site!

This snack has Paleo written all over it. It has just the essential ingredients needed for a fried almond snack, and they’ve made this incredibly simple to follow. Almonds are one of the healthiest nuts you can eat, but sometimes they can get a little boring. By frying them you immediately improve the taste, and since they have you frying them in a Paleo approved oil you will be staying on the Paleo path. Rosemary is an herb that really goes nicely with almonds, but the ghee steals the show in terms of taste, giving the almonds a nice buttery flavor.
These coconut flour pancakes cook up just like traditional pancakes, except they are missing one ingredient found in almost every single pancake recipe: all-purpose flour. All the taste that you’d expect is there, and on Paleo you can use pure maple syrup to make this taste incredible. Also, you are free to have bacon as a side, which helps to complete a most delicious start to the day, and keeps this right in line with something you’d get as a breakfast at a restaurant or diner.Get used to using coconut flour, as it will become your new best friend on Paleo.
I googled first “healthy super bowl snacks” and got a load of quite unhealthy stuff, actually. So with a sigh, I googled “Paleo super bowl snacks” and found this. SO GLAD You posted this list! I may have to battle the grocery shopping hordes tonight and get the ingredients, but I can pig out guilt-free on Sunday! I think I am going to try the zucchini roll ups, deviled eggs and sweet potato enchiladas! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oRafxW1OaUc

For a heartier cake, it’s best to mix a few different flours. This recipe uses almond, coconut, and tapioca flour, and also insists that eggs be at room temperature so the ingredients bind easily and cook perfectly (i.e. not too fast, which can cause them to burn). Berries can be a little tricky in this lightened-up batter, so we say skip 'em and stick to the compote. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dAR9kTenQyE
