You may not be a stranger to the world of muffins, but your former idea of a muffin is no longer a healthy snack consideration.  While you can no longer go to your favorite coffee shop and order one of their giant, bakery-style muffins, as tempting as they may be, you know how detrimental those sugar-laden baked goods can be to your health.  Fortunately, there are a number of amazing Paleo muffin recipes that are low in suagr and high in nutrient content.  Whether you are looking for a fruit or vegetable-based muffin, you’ll find a recipe to suit your needs below:

For a heartier cake, it’s best to mix a few different flours. This recipe uses almond, coconut, and tapioca flour, and also insists that eggs be at room temperature so the ingredients bind easily and cook perfectly (i.e. not too fast, which can cause them to burn). Berries can be a little tricky in this lightened-up batter, so we say skip 'em and stick to the compote.
Here’s a three-ingredient kebab combo that’s great to prep ahead of time (and trust us, they keep well enough in the fridge for a next-day snack). Cut chicken breasts into cubes and marinate in Tessemae’s Lemon Garlic Dressing for 1-3 hours. Thread cubes onto a skewer and grill for about 15 minutes, then garnish with fresh parsley. No extra sauce needed. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=doCDdxv7ZQ4
I have 9 Paleo snack recipes when you’re on the go so you can stay on track with minimal effort. These are good ideas for work, snacks at home, children’s snacks, and vacations. Sometimes eating on the Paleo diet can be kind of hard. Especially when you are traveling or always on the go. And extra EXTRA hard if you are traveling with kids AND doing the paleo diet. Whew! I’m tired just thinking of it.
the flavor of these is amazing!!!!!! But… the consistency created a big issue.. they were so thin that i kept burning them/not cooking the middle all the way through. I flipped too early or too late.. it was kind of a mess in my kitchen this morning. Half way through I added almond flour to try and thicken them up.. no dice! I still ate them because they were tasty, but not easy to execute. Any advice?! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3uHnEN4iIaA
Larabar is another bar made from simple ingredients but also higher in the sugar department. That’s because the sugar is the all-natural kind from dates. The other ingredients are just as simple: almonds, unsweetened apples, walnuts, raisins, and cinnamon—super clean and also incredibly tasty. We recommend these before a workout when your body needs more simple carbohydrates for quick energy. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aFIHLe_rLbc
