Hi Kirsty, I recommend any diet that encourages clean eating and avoiding processed food. It doesn’t really matter which one. The more from scratch you cook the better. You can also talk to a trainer to work out some exercise specifically for fat burning just make sure to measure your belly/thighs or wherever you want to loose weight to NOT worry about weight but rather body shape. Muscle weighs more than fat so you might not loose weight but loose fat and become leaner. Diet and exercise go hand in hand. One won’t work without the other. These were awesome – my 3 and 5 year olds gobbled them up! I added 1 tsp vanilla extract, 1/4 tsp baking soda and chocolate chips. I cooked a few on the stovetop then decided it was much easier to bake them like cookies. I made pretty small pancakes (probably about 3″) and baked them for 10-12 min at 400 degrees. These are delicious!! I’ve made a similar recipe that used almond flour instead of almond butter, and they were pretty good, but these are way better, especially the texture. I had no problem with them burning or being gooey in the middle. The only alteration I made was I added a little bit of pure vanilla extract & a little bit of cinnamon. My new go-to breakfast!
