These spicy chicken tenders are grilled up so you will be getting lots of that delicious grilled flavor, as well as plenty of spice. They are using sriracha, one of the trendiest hot sauces that goes good with anything. You can also use your own preferred hot sauce, if sriracha is not to your liking. They are have added yellow mustard to the hot sauce, to give it a more dynamic taste, and you’ll be getting sweetness from either raw honey or maple syrup, whichever one you choose to go with. She’s garnished it with cilantro, but also mentions that you can use parsley or basil, whichever suits your taste better.
I love how simple and easy your recipes are to make! They are delicious and healthy! I was a total hit the moms and kids when I brought in the sweet potato ginger brownies. They were in shock when I told them what they are made out of. I’m sure you have a few more followings after sending them your recipe link. Thank you so much for this website! You definatly deserve the Homies award!! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oIRxU_ni1XY
Hi, Susan! I linked to Thrive Market under the Siete amazon link. That’s the only other online place I get them or I purchase them from Whole Foods! They’re cheaper on Thrive Market than they are at Whole Foods unless you can find them on sale at the store. You can also purchase them through the siete website directly, however I’m unsure what the price and shipping is! They’re so good though! If you haven’t tried the tortillas yet, I’d recommend getting the almond flour ones first. They’ve seemed to hold up better (more sturdy) than the coconut ones if you have wet/heavy ingredients in your taco 🙂
Hey Tessa! Good question. So after calculating from my credit card, I spend about $275 on average on food without really budgeting. I stick to eggs and chicken as my main form of protein and look for when grassfed beef is on sale. Even at $7 a pound I can get about 3 meals out of that, so it’s not too bad. I will probably be doing a post on this in the next few months when I get back to school and am keeping track of exactly how much I spend on what.
Best stuff ever. I swear. There’s so many different HEALTHY flavors of jerky and meat sticks and even ones for kids! I love their traditional beef jerky and I can’t stop eating the cilantro lime flavored sticks. The date and rosemary flavor is pretty freaking amazing as well. There’s so many options that there’s no way you won’t find something you can’t get enough of! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aDs5M-i4GOA
Just finished up my first Whole30 and made these as a celebratory Day 31 dinner. Both my husband and I were amazed how great they were. They were a little tricky to flip but I got the hang of it after awhile. They are extremely filling and really don’t require any topping because they are moist and plenty sweet with the bananas. I think they were actually twice as good when eating left overs the following morning. I’m considering making a few batches and freezing them for easy quick breakfasts!
This is a great way to start your day and feel like you really ate a full meal. Eating Paleo means eating until you feel content, not starving yourself or depriving yourself of a full-sized meal. This breakfast burger is packed with wonderful breakfast foods that will not only keep you satisfied but will also make sure you aren’t cheating on your diet. You’re getting super foods like avocado, eggs, and fresh kale, which work nicely together and provide a good mix of protein, vitamins, and minerals. The avocados have potassium, the eggs have protein and minerals, and the kale has plenty of fiber and other good things for your body.
Our markets today are saturated with all kinds of snack and protein bars.  After a glance at the ingredient list, you may find yourself shaking your head at the thought of these bars being considered a “health” food.  You may not even be able to pronounce some of the ingredients listed on the nutrition label.  Granted, a handful of bars are considered to be Paleo-friendly; however, the price tag that accompanies many choices is considerable.  Some of the simplest and tastiest Paleo snack recipes fall into the category of energy balls or bars.  Set aside a little time and make a batch or two of these goodies to eat as a great on-the-go snack for you or pack for your loved ones.  Check out these tasty ideas:
Even if you’re not purely Paleo, boiled eggs should be a part of your diet for so many reasons. Not only are they super easy to cook (12 minutes on the stove on average with no mixing or stirring), but eggs are filled with proteins, vitamins, minerals, and good fats. Plus one large egg has only about 80 calories. Boiled eggs can even be found at the grocery store precooked and in packs of two, making it a great grab-and-go Paleo snack. If you’re not a fan of the hardboiled variety, try one of these egg-tastic breakfast cooking tips that we promise you’ll love. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qQoCFZzal_s
It’s a great plan to have an emergency Paleo kit in your desk at work. This way whether your caught sort, or don’t have time for lunch, you always have a fast Paleo snack at your fingertips. If you’re buying pre packages tins and packets, make sure you check the ingredients and get the best quality available. These options should store and keep well for a while in your desk; perfect for an emergency stash!

This breakfast casserole is something the whole family can enjoy, even if they are not following Paleo. It’s made with plenty of thick strips of bacon, and it also has parsnips and plenty of eggs in it, with coconut oil being used to cook it up. You’ll find that many breakfast casseroles will incorporate hash browns into the recipe, but potatoes are not allowed on Paleo so you want to avoid these recipes and find alternative ways to get the same effect. In this case they are using parsnips as a replacement to give it the bulk and texture it needs. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L8cvENxm6dQ
These are excellent. My sister is eating Paleo and loves them. I love them because my husband and I are diabetic and these are very low in carbs. They have a nice banana-bread flavor and are so easy to make and keep quite well. I am going to add some cinnamon and nutmeg to them to see how enhancing that flavor impacts it. I might also add some finely chopped walnuts for the same reason.
This beef recipe is simple, but comes out delicious because of the way it is prepared. You get plenty of beef in the form of chuck roast, and it is recommended to use grass-fed beef in this recipe as well as any other beef recipe you follow while eating Paleo. It’s also using a few glasses of red wine, and a good portion of tomato paste. If you are concerned about the red wine, don’t worry, the alcohol burn away during the cooking process, leaving just the flavor behind. Between the resveratrol in the red wine, and the lycopene in the tomatoes, you are getting a very healthy meal here. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kKzqFQA9NTc
With this crock pot recipe you can create a cashew chicken dish that will rival anything that you can buy from your local Chinese restaurant. The great thing is that because it is using the slow cooker it is going to be a really easy as far as preparation goes. You won’t have to babysit this, all that’s needed is to place the ingredients into the pot and let it cook itself for 3 to 4 hours. The great thing is they’ve used things like arrowroot starch instead of a breading made from wheat. It’s simple and subtle changes like this that can turn a Paleo no-no into a Paleo yum-yum. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RpEgD1Qstko
Unlike many traditional stuffed pepper recipes, these stuffed bell peppers are stuffed with things you might actually eat while watching the big game. Basically it entails mixing up a batch of buffalo chicken salad, complete with chicken, hot sauce, and bleu cheese, and then stuffing them into a pepper. This means you’ll be getting a nice balance of vegetables and meat, as well as that classic buffalo flavor with the hot sauce and bleu cheese. Plenty of protein in this snack that eats like a meal if you need it to.
You’ll be happy to learn that you can have Thai curry on the Paleo diet, as long as you follow a recipe that’s been adjusted accordingly. This may not follow the traditional recipe exactly, but all of the distinct flavors are there, thanks to the use of full-fat coconut milk. They’ve used plenty of chicken, and have included an assortment of vegetables like zucchini, carrots, mushrooms, and asparagus. There’s even kale thrown in for even more nutrients. Really as long as you’ve got the curry paste and the coconut milk you’re well on your way to a successful replication.
Almonds are paleo-approved, but it can sometimes be hard to just stop at a handful. While almonds are packed with protein, healthy fats, and an amino acid L-arginine that can help you burn more fat during workouts, they are also calorie dense—if you’re not careful, you can end up downing hundreds of calories worth of almonds in one sitting. That’s why we love these 100 calorie packs. They’re perfectly portioned and contain only whole natural almonds without sketchy ingredients or additives.

This might be the healthiest recipe for nachos you’ll ever see, with apples standing in for tortilla chips, and healthy toppings. Of course it won’t replicate the savory and spicy joy of nachos, but they’re going for more of a salty, chocolatey, sweet experience with these, and mostly just referring to the way nachos are presented. The use of coconut, almond butter, and almonds means you’re going to get a nice nutty, crunchy, and sweet taste with each bite, making this a fun snack for movie night or anytime really.
The main ingredient in traditional pancakes is wheat flour. Since that’s a no-no on the Paleo diet, this recipe uses coconut flour. But you’ll notice that it’s only a little bit of coconut flour – two and a half teaspoons, to be exact – which, if you’ve ever made traditional pancakes will seem like a strangely small amount of flour. But here’s the secret…
I think granola bars are pretty healthy so my kids and I eat them for snacks all the time. They aren’t just for breakfast anymore. These granola bars come together quickly and are so easy to make. Chopping the nuts is the most time-consuming part and you probably know that isn’t very hard. You can use whatever nuts you like or have on hand. You can forget the chocolate if you’d like.
Making a pizza crust from cauliflower is something you just have to try if you haven’t yet. You’ll be surprised that a vegetable can double as a pizza crust, and even more surprised to learn that it actually tastes good. This pizza makes use of bacon, so it has an unfair advantage on your taste buds. There’s also spinach as a topping, so you’re definitely covered in the vegetable department. Coconut flour helps the cauliflower turn out like a pizza crust, so you won’t be focused on that while you’re eating and you can focus on the bacon. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H9oVDL7ACno
